FF: White-Out (1/1) [Jul. 11th, 2006|02:47 am]
Title: White-Out
Author: coffeeplease
Rating: LATE TEEN (swears, subject)
Category: angst, Josh POV, controversial subject matter
Spoiler Info: Takes place about a month after “Inauguration: Over There”
Disclaimer: WB, NBC, John Wells, Aaron Sorkin.... owners. I just lease and try not to stain the carpet. Lawsuits don’t look good on me.
E-mail address for feedback: jamhandy1@yahoo.com
Archiving permission: Sure, just tell me first
Notes: Josh isn’t a good person in this one, but I think he feels pretty bad about it. Subject matter controversial. Although this is quite different, Quaggy_mire’s “Expecting” inspired this piece. Read hers; it’s much better (and happier!) I’d love all feedback. (I found all different spellings of “White-Out” out there and just decided on this one. I’m probably wrong.)

FF: Old Film (1/1) [Jul. 7th, 2006|01:58 am]

E-mail address for feedback: jamhandy1@yahoo.com
Archiving permission: Sure, just tell me first
Notes: I’m probably way off on the treatment of rolls of film in this one. I’m not a photographer. I've addressed this in a fic before: what did Colin do with those pictures he took of Donna in the SUV? This is one idea. Feedback makes me giddy.

FF: Gather Ye Rosebuds, Feel Thy Thorns (1/1) [Jun. 29th, 2006|04:23 am]
Okay, this is a mockfic and it is dedicated to the people who will immediately get the references. (There’s one special for Liz.) Attention: it may seem like I’m mocking your fic in this. I’m probably not. Some people can take the clichés and write great fics. Some cannot. This is mocking those fics. I’m only posting it here for now. Tell me if you think others would appreciate the joke.

Not mine.

FF: The Vanity Fair Piece [Jun. 9th, 2006|04:00 am]
Well, it's very late and now I've gone and done it. This is very odd, a new genre that's been emerging out there. The faux magazine article. I've seen faux People articles (and, I'm sorry, I kind of insulted People Magazine in this piece. No harm meant.) and a few others... I did Vanity Fair. I just thought of it and couldn't help but write it. TEEN (they do let you swear in Vanity Fair articles). Let me know how much you despise it!

Stop It, Live Journal! [Jun. 8th, 2006|05:04 pm]
I posted below a thing about AC, and now LJ is advertising her book ON MY LIVE JOURNAL. Stop it, LJ! Stop it, stop it, stop it!

West Wing.West Wing.West Wing.West Wing.West Wing.West Wing.West Wing.West Wing.

Maybe that will trigger better ads.

Random WW Thought [Jun. 8th, 2006|04:52 pm]
Thought: Did the actress who played Mary Marsh deliberately pick up on Ann Coulter's vocal inflections? Because when I saw the Bat-Ass Insane Blond's oft-repeated Today Show clip, it struck me that she might have. Then again, maybe all right wing psychos sound alike.

I remember reading somewhere that Ainsley was created as an Ann Coulter figure. Boy, did WW miss the mark!

In other news, I do wish people would stop talking about Coulter. They're just selling her book for her. How is it news that she's bat-shit insane? I've known this since the mid-ninties, when she used to appear on Politically Incorrect.
